Natural & Historical Preservation
Windy Hill Park, a 52-acre community park in the City of Brentwood, will provide passive recreation opportunities within a natural landscape of rolling hills, streams, and pastoral views of Old Windy Hill Farm and its 1825 historic home site.
The park will include a 10-foot-wide paved trail that connects to Brentwood’s growing greenway system, workout stations, a playground, historical education signage, picnic shelters, restrooms, and parking at the north and south entrances.
Preserving the site's natural and historical landscape, water quality BMP stream improvements are planned, and a plane hangar on the old air field as well as dry stacked stone walls along the northern boundary will remain focal points.
