    Walmart Distribution Center

    ESP's geotechnical engineering and materials testing department provided a number of services for this 1.2 million-square-foot facility located in Shelby, North Carolina.

    Continental Tire

    The Continental Tire project consisted of the construction of a 70,000 square-foot office/warehouse facility, associated parking, loading docks and infrastructure. ESP provided geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing and special inspection services.

    ESP performed civil site planning, design and permitting for Phases I-IV including eight buildings (to date) for a 21.5-acre industrial office park. The total square footage of office space is approximately 65,000 square feet with approximately 100,000 additional square feet under design.

    An average of 100 million gallons a day flows into and out of storage facilities, or tank farms, on Colonial’s system. To support routine maintenance and refurbishment programs, ESP provided foundation surveys, hydro testing surveys, and bulge monitoring were  for tanks in the Belton and Spartanburg, SC and the Charlotte, NC facilities.
