K-12 Schools • Athletic Fields
Welcoming over 800 students in August 2017, Pleasant Knoll Middle School is Fort Mill School District’s first three-story school facility.
The 38-acre campus includes classroom buildings, gymnasium, baseball field, track, multi-purpose field, field house with restrooms and showers, associated parking, student drop-off loop, and connections to Pleasant Road and the existing Pleasant Knoll Elementary School bus drive.
Due to a stream running through the site, classroom buildings and athletic facilities were located on opposite sides of the stream, requiring a pedestrian bridge to connect the campus. ESP also worked closely with the owner, construction manager, and architect to address environmental conditions in a revised site plan.
