As the new home to Fort Mill School District’s high school swim programs, this 29,400-square-foot aquatic center with associated parking and access drives was made possible through a public-private partnership when Leroy Springs & Co donated the site and existing YMCA recreational complex to the school district and Town of Fort Mill.
With a fully operating recreational complex on-site, the ESP team carefully considered methods to support ongoing operations while also serving the needs of the project throughout all phases from due diligence through construction.
Services included site layout, roadway design, grading, water/sewer utility design, erosion control design, stormwater management/BMP system design, environmental assessment, geotechnical investigation, and construction observation.
