Construction Materials Technician
We are seeking experienced CMT Technicians within the Columbia, SC area or within 30 miles of Columbia, SC. The successful candidate will be required to perform routine construction materials field work related to soil, concrete, asphalt, etc. 1-2 yrs of experience in construction materials testing a plus. MUST HAVE SC DOT portland cement certification. ACI, ICC, NICET certifications are a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. Good oral and written communication skills as well as attention to detail and must be reliable. Must be able to pass drug screen, background check and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy. This position is subject to outside environmental conditions.

CMT Engineering technician with NCDOT related certifications. NCDOT QMS Roadway, QMS Nuclear Gauge Operator, Conventional Density and Concrete Field Technician certifications a must. NCDOT QMS Level I and Superpave Plant Technician are a plus. Duties will include testing of soil, concrete and asphalt for a variety of project types. Responsible for preparation and submittal of written correspondence. Must have good oral and written communication skills with attention to detail. Drug screen and background and MVR review policy.
